TORONTO, June 13, 2015 - The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer announced 4,853 riders raised $19,033,000 million for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation as the eighth annual Ride commenced in Ontario on Saturday. Funds raised through Canada's largest cycling fundraiser support Personalized Cancer Medicine, the new gold standard in cancer care, at The Princess Margaret, across Ontario, and around the world.

The 2015 EnbridgeŽ Ride to Conquer CancerŽ is an epic, two-day cycling event spanning over 200 kilometres throughout Ontario’s picturesque countryside. Sure, it sounds like a lot — and it’s meant to be. But make no mistake, this event isn't just for athletes or cycling enthusiasts. Since 2008, The Enbridge Ride to Conquer CancerŽ has raised over $119 million for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and currently is Canada’s largest cycling fundraiser. Funds raised through The Ride support Personalized Cancer Medicine, including research, treatment advances, education and new standards of care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. You’re probably not used to riding such a long distance in one day, then waking up the next morning and doing it all over again. Don’t worry! We’re here to help you prepare to do just that! Our fun Training Rides will help you to reach your fitness goals, and our thorough Orientation sessions will strengthen your knowledge on the basics of cycling—such as how to change a bike tire and distinguish between a road bike and a mountain bike. As always, Ride Guides will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about how to train for The Ride.


Whether this is your first time fundraising, or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ll help you to reach (and hopefully exceed) your fundraising goal.
